Nolan {Richmond, VA Children's Photographer}

I was cold. Nolan was freezing. Nolan was not happy and there was little we could do to convince him otherwise. Bubbles, dancing, singing, laughing - he was not amused. After 2 hours of photographing, I had gotten a handful of smiles, plenty of pouting and many tears.
The images.... are adorable. This kid is just so sweet: his serious face, sad face, and happy face melt my heart.

Jeremy + Megan {Richmond, VA Portrait Photographer}

November is still just as crazy as October and December is looking just as busy. Here's a quick preview from a photo session this weekend at Meadow Farm Park.

The Caffee Family {Richmond, VA Family Photographer}

This little girl made us work hard. There is nothing quite like acting a fool in public to make a baby smile.

Some of my favorites of the family portraits from this weekend taken near the Garthwright House:

Baby Reznick {Spotsylvania, VA Maternity Photographer}

I met David in college. Had the honor of photographing his wedding to Tiffany. And now (I can't believe how time has flown!) get to take Tiffany's maternity portraits. They are living in Germany now, and though I am pushing hard for a session over there - fingers crossed for an invite to take newborn portraits - they came to town for their baby shower and scheduled their session accordingly. Tiffany found this great location, Belmont Christmas Tree Farm in Spotsylvania. It was beautiful, and just perfect for their portraits.

Pollard + Coffey Families {Mechanicsville, VA Family Photographer}

Color coordination at its finest. This family did a great job for their portraits. We met at Gaines Mill Battlefield and only had about 45 minutes until sunset. Sometimes this many people can be a challenge, not this family!

Jacob {Mechanicsville, VA High School Senior Photographer}

Jacob is one of the most easy-going high school seniors that I have had the pleasure to photograph. He was instantly relaxed in front of the camera, willing to do whatever was asked of him, and super polite. We got some great images and I'm so happy his mom called me to do these.
